SoCal ROC School of Engineering and Design Students Educated on Multiple Career Pathways at Annual SoCal ROC's Career Day

SoCal ROC hosted a Career Day for its School of Engineering and Design on March 12, 2012. Industry insiders such as business owners, welders, engineers, repairers, electricians, a project manager, a mechanic, an architect, and employer representatives provided information about career pathways and green technology. The students also acquired information about job opportunities in the engineering, welding, IT, electrical, HVAC, aerospace, and automotive fields.
Addeco Employment Services, American Textile Maintenance Co., California Bureau of Automotive Repair, City of Torrance, CMIT Solutions, Inc., Electrical Training Institute, Northrop Grumman, Robinson's Helicopter, Solar City, Southern California Edison, Taricco Corporation, and The Piping Industry Progress & Education Trust Fund participated in the informational event.
Throughout the year, SoCal ROC sponsors Career Days focused on each of its six career sectors.
